Tina comes to ECO with six years of media relations work at various cultural organizations, as well as municipal and provincial government offices. At ECO, she writes and edits press releases, organizes events and manages our in-house media list.

Tina also distributes press releases to appropriate media outlets. She consistently manages provincial, national and international client campaigns, acting as a key liaison between the client and media and helping clients to connect with the public, other organizations and key political decision makers.

Tina holds a Masters degree in Communication Studies/Social Justice, and is interested in politics and culture.

Some clients Tina manages are the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC), Green$aver and NAIMA Canada. In September 2009, she coordinated the media relations for the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada’s (BTAC) ExpoCycle 2009 by communicating between media outlets and ExpoCycle spokespeople. Tina also produced media releases on site.

Currently, Tina supports OSEA’s Community Power Conference by editing and distributing media releases. The media releases are distributed to communities throughout Ontario (from the GTA to the North/Western Ontario), as well as specialty publications, blogs etc.
