Bicycle Trade Association of Canada
ExpoCycle 2008
The ExpoCycle, held every year by the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC), is a trade show organized for all bicycle manufacturers and retailers in North America to sell and promote bicycle products. Prior to the ExpoCycle, BTAC organizes a demo day for journalists and retailers to test different products. ExpoCycle 2008 was held in Montreal between September 6 and 9.

Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance
National Energy Efficiency Report Card
The Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance prepares the National Energy Efficiency Report Card every two years. CEEA scores 14 Canadian jurisdictions on 9 parameters, including how the jurisdiction supported activities such as energy efficiency and public outreach, the existence of public/private partnerships to support energy efficiency and responsiveness to energy efficiency issues in key legislation, such as building codes and energy efficiency acts. The report also examined whether the government led by example and how it regulated the energy market.

Conservation Bureau
Certificate of Recognition
Soon after Peter Love was appointed Ontario’s first Chief Energy Conservation Officer in 2005, it became clear that there was value in recognizing the superior efforts to conserve electricity and promote a “culture of conservation”.
ECO, along with Peter Love, developed and established a “Certificate of Recognition” program to celebrate the special efforts being made in all corners of Ontario.

Conserve the Light
Conserve the Light Project
The delivery phase of “Mana-cha-toon Wash-ti-ni-gun,” or “Conserve the Light,” Energy Conservation Kits began on Sept. 7, 2007 at Thunder Bay Airport. The Conserve the Light project is an Energy Efficiency & Conservation Measures for Aboriginal Communities (EEMAC) program funded by the Ontario Power Authority.

Friends of the Earth Canada
Devils Lake Oulet
ECO has worked with Friends of the Earth Canada (FOE) since 2005, delivering messages provincially, nationally and internationally on issues supportive of creating a healthy environment. In this instance, FOE, along with U.S.A environmental organizations, the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce and The Chiefs of Manitoba, opposed transfer of polluted water and invasive biota from Devils Lake in North Dakota into the Red River to Lake Winnipeg.

Trees Ontario
Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program
ECO has been working with Trees Ontario and the Ontario Forestry Association since 2005, promoting forested landscapes on private lands by offering incentive programs such as TOF & OMNR 50 Million Tree program and the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP).
